1 - What is 'Music Programming' ?
   - Music programming is the planning of music to be played on the radio
2 - What is a station 'Format' ?
   - The station 'Format' is the type of radio that the station plays
3 - Give an example of 2 radio stations, the format and 2 tracks.
   - Gold - Music, Classic Hits - Under Pressure by Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You by ABBA
   - Absolute Classic Rock - Music, Classic Rock - All Right Now by Free, Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen
4 - What is an 'A,B,C Playlist' ?
   - An 'A,B,C Playlist' is 3 separate playlists deemed either an 'A Playlist', a 'B Playlist' or a 'C Playlist' depending on the popularity of the tracks within the playlist. So the 'A Playlist' would feature the most popular tracks and would be played the most, the 'B Playlist' would feature tracks that are less popular and the 'C Playlist' would feature the least popular tracks and would be played the least
5 - Explain how the choice of music would affect profits of a commercial radio station.
   - The choice of music could affect the profits of a commercial radio station because if the station isn't choosing the right music, the listeners would not be interested and would stop listening
6 - Explain some techniques in music
   -  One technique in music that is used frequently in radio is when two popular songs are pt either side of a new song that hasn't been heard as much. This makes sure that people hear the new song and that they keep listening throughout, this is called 'hammocking'. Another technique is when two songs are played back to back with no interuption, this is called a 'segue'.
